Four Months Old

Kailer was four months today. She had her checkup on Friday and she weighed in at a whopping 16 lbs. 3 oz. (with all of her clothes on) and was 25 1/2 inches long. Yikes! She holds her head up with no problem, eats her hands, smiles constantly, and has even rolled over a few times.

Kailer's First Cereal Feeding

We fed Kailer cereal for the first time this week. It seemed that all the cereal that went in...came right back out! She got much better the more she practiced. Towards the end we weren't getting the cereal on the spoon fast enough for her!

Kailer Sucking Her Lip

My parents got Marc and I a video camera for Christmas. It is really nice. This way we can send and post videos of Kailer to all those back home. Lately, she sucks in her lips and tongue and I happened to get it on video.

Bumbo

Kailer does really well sitting up in her Bumbo, but she seems to get bored after about 15 minutes. She really has mastered holding up her head.

Kailer looked so grown up in this outfit from Grandma and Grandpa Amstutz. I can't believe how much she changes everyday!

Toys Galore!

Kailer and I had fun playing with her fishing pole I got her and her net from Aunt Shannon, Aunt Laura, and the girls.

Kailer is getting much better at grasping things other than our fingers. I figured it was about time to get out all of the wonderful toys she received at the shower and for Christmas. Talk about stimulation overload!

Rainforest Jumperoo

Now that Kailer is able to hold her head up with no problem, we decided to try out her Rainforest Jumperoo that she got from the Kudlac Ladies. She was all smiles (although it is near impossible to catch on camera because she stops smiling as soon as she sees it)! She liked that when she moved it played music and flashed lights. She wasn't quite tall enough for her feet to reach the ground, but give it a couple weeks and I am sure she will be bouncing without difficulty!
