Gymnastics

Waiting for "nastics" to start.

You want me to hang from there?!?!?

The balance beam was by far her favorite, can you tell?

Such focus!

Kailer started gymnastics last week through the Tecumseh Gymnastics Academy. It is her first organized activity, but I am hoping it will be good for her since preschool starts in two months! We started off on the mat by stretching and then moved on to the elevated mat to do somersaults. When it came time to do handstands...forget it. She wanted nothing to do with handstands! She was ready to move on to the big stuff like bars and beam. The balance beam was by far her favorite part. We look forward to going back next week (this time with a nap)! We have been practicing our somersaults and handstands at home, so next week she will be ready.

Sprinkler!

The weather as of late has been pretty hot. Marc has been using a sprinkler to water our tiny yard and Kailer was more than thrilled when we said she could get her suit on and run through it. It took her some time to warm up to it, but then it was hard to get her to stop!

Toledo Zoo with the Saxton Crew

Such a cute looking group!

A few weeks ago when Shannon and the kids were in town, all of the Saxtons went to the Toledo Zoo. I unfortunately had class, but Aunt Shannon and Papa were kind enough to take a few pics.

Fourth of July - 2010

A proud mommy and her new bundle of joy. Congrats to you all!

Family Portraits

I don't know what we would do without Kai's MagnaDoodle. It may very well be one of her most used toys. Using the MagnaDoodle, Kai loves to draw her family as you can see in the pictures I snapped below...

This time with a little more detail. Just in case you were wondering, those are crowns...not hair!

Memorial Day Parade 2010

This year we rode our bikes down to the annual Tecumseh Memorial Day Parade. Kailer loved seeing all of the firetrucks and planes. She especially loved her "America" (aka -flag) that was given to her by the Boy Scouts.

Kite Flying

Daddy and Kai prepping the kite.

Kai dancing while she waits.

After Kai had enough of flying her kite, she returned to picking dandelions.
