Here Comes Santa Claus

Kailer wasn't too sure of Santa at first.

After petting Santa's coat, she finally warmed up to him.

Kailer and I met up with Sarah and Ben for a day of shopping and Santa. Ben was so excited to see "Ho Ho," but wasn't quite ready to sit on his lap. Kailer screamed at first, but warmed up to him after she got to pet his soft coat. It was a fun day for both the moms and the kids. Certainly not anything like our old shopping trips. Now it is Baby Gap with strollers in tow, but twice the fun:)

Playing in the Leaves

Kailer and I went outside to "help" Marc rake leaves during our last warm week of Fall. I can't say that we were of much help. She really enjoyed romping around in the leaves and making more of a mess than anything. It was all new to her and so much fun to watch!

First Year Pictures

We had Kailer's first year pics taken about a month ago at Portrait Innovations. For some reason she was quite stingy with her smiles. She wasn't too sure about it, but the photographer managed to get a few good ones. Hard to believe how much she has grown already!

Last week Marc and I took Kailer to get a pumpkin. She really enjoyed crawling around in the pumpkins "searching" for the right one and I enjoyed the photo opportunity:) We look forward to carving it this weekend! Last year Grandpa Amstutz carved one for her, but this year she will get to take part in the action.
