Happy Easter!

Sitting pretty in her Easter dress.

Hmmmmm, what is in here?

Look at all this stuff from Grandma and Grandpa Amstutz!

Putting her teether that was in her Easter package from Nonnie and Papa Saxton to good use.

I had WAY too much fun putting these ears on Kailer.

Showing off her ensemble with dad.

In her comfy clothes. She rolls from one end of the living to the other and always manages to take the blanket with her.

Easter didn't coincide with my spring break this year, so Marc, Kailer, and I shared a quiet Easter in New York City. That didn't stop Kailer from getting spoiled from both sets of grandparents. She received a Easter basket from Grandma and Grandpa Amstutz with her name on it. Inside were clothes, jellies, books, a teether, and a stuffed bunny...not to mention the adorable pink dress and polka dot shoes. Nonnie and Papa Saxton sent her clothes, a teether, a stuffed lamb, and formula:) What a lucky girl! It wasn't the usual Easter that either of us are used to, but we certainly did enjoy sharing Kailer's first. As I said before, I had way too much fun taking pictures of her with the bunny ears on.

Only in N.Y.C.

.
Sitting up with a little support.

Marc and Kailer waiting for the International Pillow Fight to begin in Union Square.

Feathers were flying after only a few minutes!

We kept our distance.

A nice view of the Empire State Building on our way to the auto show.

Ahhh, the Challenger...my dream car!

There were some classics too.

Marc, Kailer, and I headed in to Manhattan today for the International Pillow Fight. It seems that every year there is a day declared to be a "pillow fight day." Internationally it took place at 3 p.m. We only stayed a few minutes to satisfy my curiosity. It looked like a lot of fun, but my goodness what a mess! To make the trip worthwhile to Marc too, we went to New York's International Auto Show to look at all the new and concept cars. There were several that I took a liking to! Kailer was so good all day and didn't make a peep. She just sat back and took it all in. It was such a beautiful day. Sunny skies and 50 degrees (much better than the 6-9 inches of snow that was dumped back home). I am so glad we got out and enjoyed the day.

Six Months Old

.
It is hard to believe that Kailer is six months old already. Time really is flying by. Here are a few pictures and a video that I took of her today. She is finally letting me capture her adorable smile on camera. You would think she would be used to seeing the camera as often as I use it!

Grandma's Weekend Visit

I took my mom and Kailer to my school to attend the fifth/sixth grade basketball game. We had a great time and it was so much fun to watch them play!

The kids (especially the girls) loved playing with Kailer. They all took turns holding her and she certainly enjoyed the attention.

Enjoying a good book.

Another cute pair of pajamas from Grandma.

Grandma and Kailer.

Sleeping in her cute spring outfit from Nikki.

Going for a walk with mom and grandma.

My mom came to visit this past weekend and we enjoyed every minute of it. It is always nice to have an extra set of hands so that Marc and I can catch a break. Kailer was happy to see her and smiled at her as soon as she came through the door. We were all sad to see her go Monday morning.

Fun at Home

Marc took this picture of her in her play yard with all of her animal friends.

Marc set the timer and jumped on the couch with us for this one.

Kailer in her 'Love Bug' outfit from Meghan.

Kailer has become a pro at rolling over. She now rolls from one end of our living room to the other.

We Love Michigan!

Thought everyone might enjoy this picture of Kailer in her Michigan onesie. We had such a good time seeing everyone last week. She may have been born in New York City, but she loves going home just as much as her mom and dad (especially dad)!

Five Months Old

Winter Break

Her baptismal hat from Leslie was a little snug, but so cute!

Getting ready with grandma.

Nikki and Kailer.

Kailer loves playing with her big cousin Cam.

Sarah and Ben came to visit and this time Ben had no problem with his mom holding Kailer.

Grandma Amstutz was having a good time feeding Kailer her cereal.

Kailer's first experience with prunes!
